FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to water supply. The throttle contains a case with inclined shutting - off device on the butt ends equipped with upper and lower discs with central openings and packing. Shutting - off device is ellipse - shaped in cross section. On the lateral surface of the shutting - off device there are transverse stream guiding grooves. Upper and lower discs are ellipse - shaped. The case of the shutting - off device is of an ellipse - shape in cross - section, in its horizontal part there is a supporting saddle arranged at an angle equal to that of the shutting - off device. Pivotal platform for the shutting - off device in the supporting saddle is arranged at an angle more than 90° against its axis of symmetry by a value determined by the condition of its maximum allowed touch area with the foundation of the shutting - off device. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability, productivity and cost - efficiency. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
