A save mistake restoring method of operation time counter to use FRAM in electronic control system for a vehicle is provided to automatically restore the error of an operation time counter when error of operation time counter occurs due to power off. A save mistake restoring method of operation time counter to use FRAM in electronic control system for a vehicle comprises a first step of configuring a backup counter, a backup counter check sum, an operating time counter, and an operating time counter frame for storing an operating time counter check sum at specific memory region of FRAM; a second process of executing an operation time counter recovery routine in case error in operation time counter check sum and a backup counter check sum value occurs, and counting an operating time and then terminating the operating time counter recovery routine in case error in a check sum value does not occur(S201,S202,S203,S205,S206,S210); and a third step of executing operating time counter storage routine in case the operating time counter reaches the frame update cycle.
