FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of agricultural machinery immediately dealing with machinery for potato harvesting. The separator contains a set of rotors grouped into cascades that are arranged in parallel so that to enable their rotation in the same direction. The separator is designed as composed of spiral rotors consisting of right-hand and left-hand coil prigs and rod rotors with the rods arranged along the rotor generatrices. The rod and spiral rotors alternate to form cascades. The spirals are mounted so that to enable the bulbous mass displacement towards a rod rotor and displacement towards either an interface of spirals or the rotor edges. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of the rotary separator during operation under rocky soil conditions. ^ 1 dwg
