A method for preventing the web page attack and an apparatus therefor are provided to prevent a web page including malignant codes from reaching a client computer. Before a requested web page(304) reaches a client computer(312), a gateway(306) operates as a protective shield for blocking the page. The gateway comprises a web page analyzer(308), and performs the real-time security scan on the requested web page. If malignant codes are discovered in the requested web page, the web page analyzer removes or isolates the malignant codes, and then transmits the processed web page to the client computer.
