FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: rotary and axial reciprocal motions are imparted to honing bars, and speed of bar rotary motion is changed. Speed is increased in case of every axial motion, starting from middle of honing head travel with honing bars to the moment of its travel reverse at the bottom of processed hole. This speed is reduced in process of honing bars motion in reverse direction to the moment of time that corresponds to the middle of honing head travel. ^ EFFECT: accuracy and capacity of processing are increased due to larger removal of allowance at the bottom of processed hole. ^ 5 dwg, 1 ex
