An operating structure of a horn switch of a steering wheel for a vehicle is provided to prevent excessive crevice between an airbag cover and peripheral parts, and prevent a staggering and unevenness. An operating structure of a horn switch of a steering wheel for a vehicle comprises an upper plate(10) moving up and down by a spring(16), consisting of an airbag mounting part(11) on which a drive airbag is mounted and a hinge joining part(13); a lower plate(20) fastened to a hub core steered by a fastening bolt(15), consisting of a vertical moving guide piece(22) having a vertical slot(21) and a sliding moving guide part(23); an electric conducting part(30) electrified in pressing the upper plate, consisting of an electric contact rivet(31) and an electric contact terminal(32); an insulator(40) installed to the lower part of the fastening bolt and the electric contact terminal in order to be electrified when the upper plate is pressed; and a plurality of pantagraphies(50) whose one side is joined to a hinge joining part and the other side is slidably joined to a slide moving guide part.
