摘要 A nanocomposite compositions with flame retardant and antistatic properties is provided to prevent deterioration of mechanical strength while maintaining a high flame retardant property by using an environment-friendly inorganic flame retardant. A nanocomposite compositions with a flame retardant and antistatic property comprises a 40-50 wt% of olefin based waste plastic resin, 5-15 wt% of carbon powder, a 35-45 wt% of inorganic flame retardant, and 1-10 wt% of organic layered silicate having a layer structure with nano units. The method for manufacturing the nanocomposite compositions is composed of the following steps of: mixing the olefin based waste plastic resin, the carbon powder, the inorganic flame retardant, and the organic layered silicate; processing a pellet shaped mixture; and heat-compressing the mixture.
