A probability-based business card information management and search method and a recording medium in which a program for realizing the method is recorded are provided to store recognized business card information based on the probability and show the search results in the probability order when searching the business card information. A business card information list is obtained(S110). The business card information list includes information about one or more business cards. A search word for business card information within the business card information list is received(S130). The business card information corresponding to the search word is extracted(S150). A hitting ratio for search is generated by calculating the character recognition reliability of character recognition candidates within a character recognition candidate group corresponding to the search word. The business card information having the highest hitting ratio is extracted as the search result based on the generated hitting ratio.
