<p>A composite sinter characterized by comprising cubic boron nitride and a binder. It is further characterized in that the cubic boron nitride has a continuous skeletal structure formed by the bonding of first cubic-boron-nitride particles to each other and the binder has a continuous structure formed by the bonding of binder particles to each other, the binder particles being present in a region other than the bonding interface where the first cubic-boron-nitride particles are bonded to each other, and that second cubic-boron-nitride particles isolated from the first cubic-boron-nitride particles forming the skeletal structure are dispersed in the continuous structure of the binder particles.</p> |
