A multi windows conversion method performed in a mobile terminal and a communication terminal adopting the method individually controlling a function performed based on a control command and individually allocating a window are provided to perform a plurality of functions without pausing the function performed in the terminal. An input unit(101) receives a control command for the change over of a plurality of windows. A window conversion unit(102) converts a plurality of windows especially allocated by a function corresponding to the inputted control command. A display unit(103) indicates a plurality of windows especially allocated by a function on one screen. A plurality of windows independently performs the respective allocated function. It is selectively converted and a plurality of windows is indicated.
