A discriminating method of an optical disc is provided to prevent the error of optical disc discrimination from being generated by determining a kind of the optical discs through using the reflectivity of the optical disc. A discriminating method of an optical disc comprises: a step for determining the change of an optical power value about a standard optical power value; a step(S50) for adjusting an optical disc discrimination standard level based on the change of the optical power value; and a step(S70) for determining a kind of the optical discs based on the adjusted base level. The step for determining the change of the optical power value comprises: a step for measuring the optical power value; and a step for calculating a rate of the measured optical power value about the standards optical power value.
