A sewing machine is provided to solve inconvenience by preparing a sensing unit which recognizes an end point and an initial point of cloth exactly. A sewing machine comprises the followings: a zig(2) fixing the cloth and formed on a guide groove(22) guiding a stitch sequence; a side roller moving and rotating the zig; a step motor or a mechanical driving unit rotating the side roller; an elastic supporting unit(6) including a spring(66); a first sensor(8) connected according to curvature of a corner of the jig and installed by the elastic supporting unit; and a second sensor(9) detecting an end point and an initial point of the corner.
