A second scale adopted puzzle piece and a number puzzle using the same are provided, which are not restricted to the number or the size of the lattice. A second scale adopted puzzle piece and a number puzzle using the same comprise: nxn lattices which are arranged not to be overlapped and have the number of n-x; and a scale which does not put number or the image of x which is differently indicated by width and the scale which puts number or image. The condition of arrangement not to be overlapped is that the n'xn' lattice is indicated by n and a scale for putting n'-x' number or image and a scale for not putting number or the image of x' are indicated.
