A method for controlling a cursor in each input mode and a recording medium therefor are provided to enable a user to intuitively recognize the input mode when inputting a character by including a mark for the intuitive recognition in the shape of a cursor which indicates a character input location. A cursor control module interworks with a web browser to confirm a character input region to which a cursor is allocated(500,505,510,515,520), and then confirms the input mode, namely, the kind and attribute of an inputted language, corresponding to the character input region(525). The cursor control module confirms the location of the cursor assigned to the character input region(530,535,540) and then outputs cursor data of each input mode, which includes marks corresponding to the input modes, on the cursor location(545).
