A filter assembly for a dust collector is provided to smoothen movement of a back filter and reduce a noise by fixing a hollow spring on an inner face of the back filter. A filter assembly for a dust collector comprises the following units. A hollow spring(16) whose an end is opened and other end is closed is vibrated according to an input of compressed air. A back filter(13) is equipped with the hollow spring to separate a foreign material. The hollow spring is fixed on an inner sidewall or bottom of the back filter. A wrinkle is formed in a direction of the back filter moved. An external face of the back filter is moved according to the vibration of the hollow spring.
