A power supply for UV lamp is provided to control the amount of light of the UV lamp by controlling a drive voltage supplied to the UV lamp precisely. In a power supply for UV lamp, a first transformer (TR1) includes a primary winding(1n1) and a secondary winding(1n2). AC power is supplied to a primary winding and a second winding is flux-coupled with the primary winding. The secondary winding supplies drive power to the UV lamp. The second transformer includes a first winding and second winding. The first winding is connected with the secondary winding of the first transformer in series. The reactance of the first winding is variable and the secondary winding is flux-coupled with the first winding. The secondary winding changes the reactance of the first winding. A controller controls the flux density of the ripple power supplied to the secondary winding of the secondary transformer. |
