The invention relates to a process for obtaining from a monolithic piece of polymeric material adjacent forms for placement of objects having a complex figure of rotation and can be used in the production of packages for protection of fragile objects during storage and transportation thereof. The process, according to the invention, includes utilization of a rigid cutting tool, repeating the half-mould of the corresponding object and made of a bar of refractory metal, heated with the electric current passing therethrough. At the same time, the tool is fixed on the blank of polymeric material, the dimensions of which exceed the maximum radius of rotation of the object by at least 10%, superposing its axis of rotation with the central zone of the plane surface of the blank, then the heated cutting tool is turned over 180? about the axis of rotation, afterwards it is removed the cutoff interior part.
