Disclosed is a compound represented by the following formula (1): wherein Y represents an oxygen atom; Z represents CH or N; X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or N-R5; and wherein the rest of the substituents are defined within the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the above compound or a salt thereof in the manufacture of a medicament for treating pathological conditions selected from the group consisting of hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, complications of diabetes, inflammation, and heart diseases.
