<p>The present invention relates to a process for preparing solid and liquid fertilizers from poultry dejections and to the installation related to the process. The poultry dejections are treated with natural bacterial spores, the foreign materials are removed, afterwards, in the case of growing poultry on bedding material, the dejections and the organic bedding material are homogenized, crushed and uniformly distributed, and then conditioned and thermally treated, a solid granular fertilizer being prepared, and in case of growing poultry in battery cages or on gratings, the dejections are homogenized and separated into solid and liquid fractions, the solid fraction is conditioned and thermally treated while the liquid fraction is subjected to a flux of ultraviolet radiations, there resulting a liquid fertilizer with a pH of 6.8 ... 7.5, a concentration of the solid components of 1.5 ... 3.0 % and a minimal content of the solid component in organic substance of 80%. According to the invention, the installation differs from the solution which it was compared with by the fact that it comprises a rotary cylinder whose axis is inclined and which is provided inside lengthwise with some baffle-gratings allowing the aeration and the complete treatment of the dejections which ensures a more efficient processing of the raw material having benefic effects upon the efficiency of the fertilizer resulting from the installation.</p> |
