FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: axial water-jacked plain bearing relates to machine building, mainly, to power-plant engineering, and can be used in production of steam and gas turbines, compressors, blowers and whatever devices incorporating high RPM rotors. The proposed bearing comprises housing (1) with two thrust bearings (2) and (3), each with a rubbing flat surface (4) and (5), shaft (6) with bearing (7) representing a disk with rubbing flat surfaces (8) and (9) on opposite sides. Note also that the bearing has two built-in labyrinth-screw pumps (LSP) (10) and (11) separated by circular inlet chamber (12) and attached to the edges of thrust bearing (7) and on bearing housing (1). LSPs (10) and (11) are used to separately feed lubricating fluid for every pair of friction surfaces into the gaps between friction surfaces. The bearing incorporates also two labyrinth-screw seals (LSS) (17) and (18) and pipeline (23) letting lubricating fluid into inlet circular chamber (12) communicating with the LSP inlet (10) and (11), and, at least, two drain lines (24) and (25) to separately drain off lubricating fluid after its passing by the gaps between the pairs of friction surfaces. Drain lines (24) and (25) are furnished with elements (26) and (27) to control their flow passage sections. ^ EFFECT: contactless operation of friction surfaces, correction of axial shaft position within backlash tolerances. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
