The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to a substanse having anti-apoplexy, anti-hypoxic and improving memory activity intended for treating acute and chronic derangements of cerebral circulation, including ischemic and haemorrhagic strokes, derangements while aging and other conditions and diseases attended by decreasing cognitive functions and by neurodegeneration. As the substanse having anti-apoplexy, anti-hypoxic and improving memory activity 2,4,6-trimethyl-3-oxypiridine succinate is used. 2,4,6-trimethyl-3-oxypiridine succinate (trimexidine) has an anti-hypoxic effect and anti-amnesic activity. Trimexidine exceeds mexidol at all points in anti-hypoxic, anti-apoplexy and improving memory activity. |
