A receiving system and a method of processing data are provided to improve access speed largely and efficiency of data processing. A broadcast signal is received and demodulated(S2930). The broadcast signal includes fast information channel(FIC) data, transmission parameter channel(TPC) data and mobile service data(S2940). The demodulated RS frame forms an ensemble classified by an ensemble identifier. A service map table(SMT) is parsed from the ensemble(S2950). An IP datagram of the mobile service data desiring reception from the ensemble is accessed according to the mobile service IP access information of the parsed SMT(S2970).
