A gas burner in which the fuel efficiency is high is provided to activating liquid butane gas stored in a gas barrel by delivering heat of a support stand to a fuel part. A gas burner in which the fuel efficiency is good comprises a support stand(1) supporting firing plates, a fuel part(2) mounted on a gas barrel and a connection part connecting the support stand and the fuel part. The connection part includes a switch(3) which selectively connects the connection part and support stand. The support stand and fuel part can select use of a heating function for liquid butane gas with the switch.
