The method involves analyzing each segment of network elements e.g. nodes, for detecting road curve input condition. The segments of each road curve are analyzed in a successive manner for determining a course for each segment and for determining variation of course between a set of segments among the segments. Verification is made if a road curve output condition is fulfilled from data obtained from data processing units, and the segments of each road curve are analyzed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a software comprising instructions to perform a method for determining road curve for a digital road network system (2) a navigation method for a vehicle (3) a software comprising instructions to perform a navigation method for a vehicle (4) a navigation device for a road vehicle.
