FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 0.30 to 1.20 cubic inches-displacement engines. The proposed engine incorporates a cylindrical housing (1) with radially-arranged cylinders (2) housing pistons (2a) reciprocating therein and linked, via con rods (6), with the system of crankshafts (8a) that pass through the aforesaid cylindrical housing (1). The gear wheels (8b) of the said shafts are in mesh with gear wheel (3a) of the central shaft (3) inside housing (1). Note that the housing has a crankcase and features the design allowing the required compression ratio. The proposed engine is distinguished for by uniform working mix distribution and simultaneous ignition of the said mix in all cylinders with the help of an appliance incorporating a plate valve (40). ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 6 cl, 17 dwg |
