Provided is a walking pole, which holds a correct walking position and which can acquire exercise effects like those of the prior art without burdening the wrist of a walker. The walking pole is constituted to include a shaft, a grip mounted on the upper end portion of the shaft, and a strap disposed on the side of the grip. This strap is extended between the upper portion and the lower portion of the grip.
