A fuel tank mounting support structure in a vehicle is provided to improve endurance of a rear floor panel by preventing fracture due to stress concentration on a welding part of a supportive block. A fuel tank mounting support structure in a vehicle comprises a mounting bracket mounting a fuel tank to a rear floor panel; and a first and second support blocks(12a,12b) to which the mounting bracket is attached through a hinge pin(12c). The first support block is attached to the rear floor panel. The second support block is attached to the rear cross member. The first and the second support block are combined in order to form a box type. A flange attached to the rear floor panel is formed on the top of the first support block. The flange(12ba) attached to the rear cross member is formed on the top of the second support block.
