A digital broadcast system and a data processing method are provided to supply a download prediction time to a user, thereby enabling a user to download file data conveniently. A baseband processor(801) receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data and main service data. The mobile service data can comprise an RS frame. The RS frame includes mobile service data, file data and at least one channel configuration information for the mobile service data and a table describing the download prediction information of the file data. A table handler parses the table from the RS frame. The table handler extracts the download prediction information of the file data and one or more channel configuration information. The FLUTE(File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport) handler(809) parses file data from the RS frame. The parsed data is stored. A display module(804) receives the download prediction time of the parsed file data from the table handler. The display module displays the provided download prediction time on a part of a screen.
