METHOD FOR DETECTING VICTIM USING BLIND FORM IN ULTRA WIDE BAND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for detecting victim by a blind mode in an ultra wide band communication system is provided to reduce erroneous determination due to instant channel characteristic or the noise power by determining the victim based on the frequency of a subcarrier. A signal size is calculated according to a subcarrier for the received symbol(S10). A plurality of packets are formed by selecting the predetermined number of the subcarriers with a large signal size(S12). A first group is formed by using the plurality of packets. The subcarriers of M among the subcarriers of N selected among the plurality of packets belonging to the first group are selected(S14).and the subcarrier of M. After the subcarriers of M is selected as the first group, the second group is formed by using the plurality of the first groups and the subcarriers of P with high frequency among the subcarriers of M selected among the plurality of the first groups belonging to the second group(S16). A third group is formed by using the plurality of the second groups and the subcarriers of P selected among the plurality of the second groups belonging to the third group are arranged according to the high frequency(S18). The victim is detected by comparing the reference value with the signal size of the predetermined number of subcarriers with high frequency selected among the highest group(S20).
