A mobile terminal and a method for printing a display data thereof are provided to perform printing as a user freely designates a printed part on the screen of a terminal. An external printer is communicated(S201). One or more contacts for designating domain printed is inputted on a picture of a touch screen(S202). The indication data corresponding to the contacted domain are transmitted to the printer(S203~S205). Local area wireless communication is one among IrDA(Infrared Data Association), blue tooth, zigbee, wireless LAN and UWB(Ultra-WideBand). The picture is one among a broadcasting picture, an image viewer picture and a web-browser.
