The present invention relates to compounds of formula I:(I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, where values of X, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rare defined in the invention claims. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions based on compounds of formula I for the treatment of a disorder associated with dysfunction of the 5-HTreceptors, in particular, migraine in a mammal. Further, the present invention relates to a method for activating 5-HTreceptors, inhibiting neuronal protein extravasation, and for the treatment or prevention of migraine in a mammal, especially humans, comprising administering mammal in need of such treatment or prevention an effective amount of compound of formula I or the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof. Another embodiment of the invention relates to the use of compound of formula I in the manufacture of a medicament for the activation of 5-hip receptors in a mammal in the manufacture of a medicament for activating 5-HTreceptors, inhibiting neuronal protein extravasation and/or for the treatment of a disorder associated with dysfunction of the 5-HTreceptors, in particular, migraine in a mammal.
