This invention relates to compositions comprising co-crystals of (-)- gossypol with acetic acid, where (-)- gossypol with acetic acid are present at a molar ratio of about 1:1, which are useful as inhibitors of Bcl-2 family proteins. The invention also relates to a method of preparing a composition, pharmaceutical compositions comprising said co-crystals of (-)- gossypol with acetic acid, a method of preparing a pharmaceutical composition, and kits for treating a hyperproliferative disease comprising said co-crystals. |
