The device (58) has a diaphragm control valve (60) placed between a supply channel (62) and a water outlet (64) communicating with a tank. A control unit permits to change the state of the valve based on the water level of the tank. The control unit has a solenoid valve (80). The control valve has a flexible membrane (68) placed in a cavity (70) for communicating chambers (CH1, CH2). The control valve includes an orifice (76) for communicating the chambers and an orifice (78) for communicating the chamber (CH2) with outside. The valve (80) partially closes or releases the orifice (78).
