A system and a method for processing the balancing between a gift certificate account and a circulating account are provided to withdraw the calculated balancing amount of money from the circulating account ledger connected with the gift certificate account. A method for processing the balancing between a gift certificate account and a circulating account includes the step for receiving the gift certificate usage of passbook history of client by the information receiving unit(2105); the step for confirming the included gift certificate value usage history in the received gift certificate usage of passbook history in the verifying information unit(2110); the step for calculating the balancing amount of money corresponding to the confirmed gift certificate value usage history(2120); the step for withdrawing the calculated balancing amount of money from the circulating account ledger and the gift certificate account.
