PHOTOCHROMIC FILMS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A photochromic film, a transparent product containing the photochromic film, and a method for preparing the photochromic film are provided to improve durability and transparency, to reduce the thickness deviation and to increase density. A photochromic film comprises a multifunctional (meth)acrylate-based monomer having at least two functional groups; and a photochromic dye. Preferably the multifunctional (meth)acrylate-based monomer having at least two functional groups is at least one selected from a bisphenol A acrylate monomer and a polyalkylene glycol-based di(meth)acrylate. Preferably the photochromic film has an optical density of 35% or less in case of discoloration.
