The flipper (1) has a connection unit (4) for pivoting a web (3) with respect to a foot pocket (2). A remote control unit (5) displaces a locking element (6) placed at the front of the foot pocket by actuating a handle (7) for authorizing or preventing the rotation of the web. The handle is placed at the rear of the foot pocket. The locking element has a groove cooperating with an edge of the web. The control unit has an actuating link (8) connected to the handle and the locking element.
