#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves arranging a sensor for contactlessly detecting a position of a window (50) or a door, and an electronic unit for detecting of sensor signals in a region of window or door edges (58, 60) at distance to door and window rotational axes (t, s). Transition of the window or the door from a closed position to an opening position during opening the window or the door is detected by the sensor.
