A power control method for controlling a plurality of batteries, a power control apparatus and a portable terminal using the same are provided to prevent the reverse charge by operating a main battery and an auxiliary individually or integratedly according to the battery capacity. A power control circuit comprises the followings: a main battery(141); a connector(148) connected to the main battery; a TC(Travel Charger)(149) connected to the connector; the first node(N1) between the connector and the main battery; an auxiliary battery(143) arranged between the main battery and the first switch(142); a comparator(147) controlling the activation of the first switch; and the second switch(144) arranged between the first node and an input power source(Vin).
