The device has absorbing supports e.g. sheets, impregnated with a treating substance e.g. essential oil based product, to be diffused. An adjoining storage reservoir (7) stores the treating substance in a liquid phase. Impregnating units are arranged in a sealed case (1) and deliver the treating substance to the absorbing supports through nozzles. Supplying units with a supply pump (8), supply the treating substance to the impregnating units from the storage reservoir in a continuous and automatic manner.
