DIGITAL DOOR-LOCK SYSTEM USING BIDIRECTIONAL WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A digital door lock system using two-way radio communications and a control method thereof are provided to extend recognition distance and maintain security of transceiver data by performing an authentication process. A door lock unit obtains ID information of a key unit from the key unit. The door lock unit produces a random number and transmits the random number to the key unit. The random number is encoded in the key unit and the encoded data are transmitted to the door lock unit. The encoded data is decoded in the door lock unit. The door lock unit compares the decoded data with the random number and determines identification. In case of identification, the door lock unit unlocks a lock.
