摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the wide dynamic range of camera output and to evade "dark-area-gradation deterioration" and "bright-area-gradation deterioration" in images in an on-vehicle image processor. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel selection image recognition processing part 11c executes image recognition processing using pixels corresponding to the first filter part of low light transmissivity when the "bright-area-gradation deterioration" is recognized by an image brightness and darkness judging part 11b and executes the image recognition processing using pixels corresponding to the second filter part of high light transmissivity when the "dark-area-gradation deterioration" is recognized by the image brightness and darkness judging part 11b, and thus the on-vehicle image processor 10 mitigates the excess/insufficiency of an incident light quantity and improves the "bright-area-gradation deterioration" and the "dark-area gradation deterioration". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
