PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of an imaging unit with simple constitution though it is equipped with a movable lens and a camera shake correction function. SOLUTION: The imaging unit 1 includes: a housing 10 in which the lens 2 is housed; a lens driving device 20 which drives the lens 2 in an optical axis X direction; a turning regulation part 50 which regulates turning of the lens 2 centering around the optical axis X; a lever 30 which has a fulcrum 31 and whose one end 32 abuts on the driving shaft 23 of the lens driving device 20; a coil spring 40 which biases the other end 33 of the lever 30 so that the one end 32 may be pressed to the driving shaft 23 side; and a position detection sensor 60 which detects the position of a moving member 25 in the optical axis X direction. The driving shaft 23 of the lens driving device 20, and a fitting part 27 provided on the moving member 25 and slidably fit to the driving shaft 23 form the same quadrangle in view in the optical axis X direction, and a backlash preventing means preventing backlash in the turning direction of the lens 2 centering around the optical axis X is constituted of the driving shaft 23 and the fitting part 27.
