PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus that implements appropriate driving support by reducing unnecessary driving support actions. SOLUTION: The driving support apparatus, which supports driving in vehicle stops at intersections, executes the driving support at a delayed start timing of driving support action when the vehicle approaches an intersection having a signal 30 provided with an arrow unit 31 if the need for driving support prompting a signal stop depends on the route of the vehicle under the lighting of the arrow unit 31.
