METHOD FOR OPENING WOVEN FABRIC, WOVEN FABRIC AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for opening a woven fabric by which warp yarns and weft yarns can uniformly be opened according to a simple method without changing a weaving step of the woven fabric. SOLUTION: The method for opening the woven fabric includes opening the woven fabric 4 obtained by weaving the warp yarns 2 and the weft yarn 3 in which a plurality of fiber filaments 1 are converged. An abutment body 6 is provided through a protective film 5 on the surface of the woven fabric 4 and the abutment body 6 is relatively moved obliquely in the longitudinal direction of the warp yarns 2 or the weft yarns 3 relatively to the woven fabric 4 to thereby open the warp yarns 2 or the weft yarns 3.
