PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving thermal efficiency to an ever-higher degree and a heating cooker using the same. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 10 has a premixing chamber 12 provided with a premixed gas flow passage 24 for introducing premixed gas F from the outside toward a central part and a combustion chamber 16 disposed to separate the premixing chamber 12 from a heat-transfer partition 30 and provided with an exhaust gas flow passage 38 to discharge exhaust gas E generated by combustion of premixed gas F supplied from the premixing chamber 12 from the central part toward the outside, wherein a first fluid passage 44 is formed inside an upper hot plate 34 of the combustion chamber 16, which is heated by combustion.
