摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve load and seal of a nozzle, improve heat separation of a retaining ring, reduce cost, and improve flexibility in assembly of a nozzle structure. SOLUTION: An outer sidewall retention scheme 500 for a singlet first nozzle of a gas turbine includes a circumferential retaining ring 300 with a main body 310 and a pair of circumferential retaining lands 325, 330 projecting inward radially. A circumferential annular retaining groove 320 is formed between the pair of circumferential retaining lands 325, 330. A first lug 440 and a second lug 445 mounted on an outer face of the outer side wall of each nozzle 520 are adapted to fit within the circumferential annular retaining groove 320 of the retaining ring and are supported radially and circumferentially by a first retaining pin 490 and a second retaining pin 495, each pin passing through the circumferential retaining lands 325, 330.
