PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive file which can efficiently use the storage space by being of the thickness corresponding to the stored volume and provide good browsability of the filed documents, making it easy to take out stored materials in the middle and put them back therein. SOLUTION: The file for filing sheet-like stored materials with two respective punching holes in them includes: a sheet of board to be folded for forming a cover; filing legs made of flexible soft plastic to penetrate into through-holes provided in the board; a filing tool to keep pressing the stored materials by holding the legs folded; and also auxiliary legs integrally molded with the filing legs which become annular by combining the leading edges thereof with the leading edges of the filing legs, having connection parts with cross section sized so as to allow them to be put on and off the leading edges of the filing legs and to pass through the punching holes. Alternatively, one edge has such connection part, and the other edge has an auxiliary leg having an attachment part with a hole therein so that it communicates with the through-hole of the board, which is attached by passing through the board and the filing legs.
