PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reinforcing material which improves following property to a curved surface when pasted by using neither dangerous glass cloth nor dangerous metal foil and which produces no distortion even when it is adhered to a steel sheet in any sheet shape without putting-in a slit and without working to a specific sheet shape. SOLUTION: The multilayer type steel sheet reinforcing material has at least (1) a reinforcing layer which contains a thermosetting resin, a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting agent and which is hardened by heating, (2) an intermediate layer having thermoplasticity and (3) an adhering layer which contains the thermosetting resin, the thermoplastic resin and the thermosetting agent and which is hardened by heating and is adhered to the steel sheet.
