PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of eliminating the influence of the motion of a subject and obtaining excellent image quality even when the subject is moving in the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for performing the smoothing processing of images. SOLUTION: A motion detection part 130 detects the motion of the subject between transmission and reception on the basis of data stored in respective memories 115, and controls the read of the data from the respective memories 115 so as to eliminate the difference (deviation) of images between the respective memories 115 based on the movement of the subject on the basis of the detected result. Thus, the images stored in the respective memories 115 are positioned (that is, position-corrected), and the influence of the motion of the subject is eliminated (correction of the movement of the subject).
