PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can save the operation power to close the inner lid while ensuring the water-tightness. SOLUTION: The dishwasher comprises: an elastic seal member 2 located along the position corresponding the upper end of the opening 11 on the opposing surface of the washing tank 1 of the inner lid 5; and a seal member contacting surface 16 which is formed along the upper end of the opening 11, contacting the elastic seal member 2 when the inner lid 5 covers the opening 11, wherein the length from the seal member contacting surface 16 to the lower end of the engaging part is shorter at the corner than at the linear region of the rectangle shaped inner lid 5.
